New year, new opportunities: CV-Library announces key changes in its senior management team

CV-Library, the UK’s fastest-growing job site is kick-starting the year with several changes in its senior management team. Founder Lee Biggins, who has held the position of sole Managing Director since 2013, has taken on a new role as CEO, while Deputy Managing Director, John Salt, is now Managing Director, following a successful six months at the company.

CV-Library is also delighted to welcome Andy Summers to the business, who will be replacing Katherine Spice as IT Director. In her six years at CV-Library, Spice has overseen the rapid development of the popular job board’s recruitment technology and has grown the IT department from just five team members, to 45 people strong.

With 28 years’ experience in IT and a wealth of technical and digital experience, Summers will be instrumental in continuing to drive the technical team forward and maintaining the company’s position as the UK’s leading independent job board.

Biggins comments on CV-Library's recent management team changes: "Our senior management team plays a crucial role in the company's success and it's been fantastic to work with John over the past six months. He is really making his mark on our business and I'm confident that he will continue to drive the company forward and work closely with the wider management team to help achieve our goals.

"Alongside this, the appointment of Andy Summers as our new IT Director is an exciting move and we're truly delighted to have him on board. After spending a long time with the company, Katherine will be greatly missed, but I have no doubt that with his wealth of experience, Andy will continue to build on our already successful technical team."

Alongside these changes, while Biggins remains the CEO of CV-Library, his focus for 2019 will mainly be on CV-Library's sister website in the US, Resume-Library, taking a hands-on approach to overseeing the growth of Resume-Library's presence throughout America.

John Salt adds: “It’s clear that CV-Library has established a great name for itself in the UK, evidenced by an excellent Trustpilot rating in recent months. Now is the ideal time for Lee to turn his attention fully towards Resume-Library and prove that its unique model will bring something new to the recruitment market in the US. I’m looking forward to continuing CV-Library's rapid development in the coming months, while Lee takes on this new challenge.”
