New TempWorks Solution Helps Staffing Firms Attain a Paperless Environment

DocCenter, the latest product release by TempWorks Software, expedites the employee intake process

TempWorks Software, a technology provider of innovative staffing software solutions, today announces that its latest product release is now available to the public. The new DocCenter module is designed to accommodate the staffing industry’s fulfillment of numerous employment forms that need to be completed, signed and filed.

The TempWorks DocCenter solution simplifies the employee intake process and streamlines the procedure from start to finish. The process is initiated with an electronic form that is pre-populated with data pulled directly from the TempWorks database or from an online Applicant Portal form. An employee finalizes their portion of responsibility by completing the necessary information and approving it with their signature via a Topaz SystemsR signature pad connected to the PC or by signing directly on the document through the use of a TabletPCR.

The document flows through to a staffing firm representative, who is prompted to proof, make any necessary modifications, authorize the form with their signature through the same methods as the employee, and submit it to the TempWorks system.

The paperless document management cycle completes by converting the document into a PDF format and saving the file under the employee’s record in the TempWorks database, where it can now be easily accessed while eliminating the need for paper storage.

DocCenter functionality is possible through the application of MicrosoftR InfoPath 2007 technology. TempWorks and its development team consistently search for emerging technologies to utilize for future product offerings to the staffing industry.
