New Rockpoolsí service helps employees find their Soul Purpose

This week, Rockpools has launched an exciting new offering for organisations wishing to develop their employeesí confidence and team work skills by creating their own soul tunes.

Soul Purpose is a different, unusual and effective approach to team development. The programme features interactive sessions which involve teams working with live musicians and recording equipment to enable people to hear, understand and participate in creating their own classic soul music.

Rockpoolsí Partner, Mohan Yogendran, who also plays keyboard in the band, Soul Conviction, developed this new service. He said: ìThrough Soul Purpose, weíve created a unique, fun and inspirational team development programme based around boosting employeesí self-confidence and team work skills through working together to create soul music. After all, soul music has a set structure, which musicians then have the freedom to experiment and be creative with ñ isnít that what businesses want their employees to achieve?î

The interactive sessions are designed for those with no prior music knowledge or ability and no one need do anything they are uncomfortable with. All that is asked of individuals is to have a willingness to get involved.

Teams from the Royal Mail have already taken part in a pilot session of Soul Purpose. Denyse Busby-Earle, Director of Engagement and Inclusion at the Royal Mail, said: Soul Purpose proved to be an excellent way of helping my new team of six formerly disparate functions, to learn more about one another and why it was important for them to work together, and how to create music together of course - soul music! I would recommend this strongly to any organisation wanting to foster strong team dynamics through a fun, creative and inspirational experience.

Rockpools offers whole day, half day and two hour sessions for groups of up to 25 people in a training room or recording studio session.

For a limited time only, Rockpools is offering organisations some discounted taster sessions. If you are interested in taking part in these, visit the website at www.rockpools.co.uk/soulpurpose.
