New operations manager appointed to focus on growth of companys key divisions

NOW Recruitment have appointed Tony White as Operations Manager

Tony (41) from Ironbridge, Shropshire, will be responsible for the strategic development of NOW Recruitmentís Accountancy, Education and Commercial divisions.

Tonyís experience lies in over 15 years spent working within the recruitment industry. Industries in which he has gained experience include Construction, Executive Sales, Industrial, Catering and Commercial recruitment.

ìSince graduating, recruitment has been my passion,î says Tony. ìIn the last 15 years I have gained a wealth of experience working across a wide range of disciplines. My main responsibility will be for the running of our Accountancy, Education and Commercial divisions. Although the divisions have been up and running for 1 ñ 3 years I feel there is still a wealth of work to do to establish them with key clients and candidates as the only place to call for bespoke recruitment solutions. Iím excited about rolling up my sleeves and working with key personnel to push each division as far as it can go. 2005 will be an exciting year for all three divisions.î

Continues Tony: ìOne of my main aims in 2005 will be to expand each division across NOWís extensive branch network as well as work to build our presence in new geographical areas in the UK.î

NOW Education has offices in Birmingham (HQ) and Bristol. The division specialises in the temporary and permanent placement of primary and secondary teachers. NOW Accountancy is based in Cardiff and supplies both temporary and permanent staff from Ledger Clerks through to Financial Directors in industrial, public and private sectors. NOW Commercial is based in Bristol and specialises in the temporary and permanent placement of clerical and administration staff.

ìTonyís appointment is an important step forward for NOW Recruitment,î says Gary Redman, Group Managing Director. ìAll of the divisions for which he is working are under five years old and need a strong lead in order to not only build their industry presence but also the consultants within them. Iím looking forward to working with him in the future.î
