New Finance Director at Change Recruitment Group

Change Recruitment Group, one of Scotland's largest independent specialist recruitment solutions providers, has appointed Brian Robinson as Finance Director.

Robinson will be responsible for Change's continued development, following the company's management buy out in 2006 and in particular, looking at acquisition opportunities to meet the company's plans for growth over the next five years.

Robinson joins Change from First Group plc, where he was interim finance director for the company's York division. In a career spanning over 30 years, he has consistently brought financial rigour, operational excellence and commercial benefit in a variety of business sectors, which match with many of Change's ten recruitment specialisms.

Commenting on his appointment, Suzanne Ramsay, chief executive of Change Recruitment Group said: Brian is immensely qualified and an accomplished finance director who has consistently performed in previous posts and brings with him a wealth of corporate experience, especially of private equity backed businesses, which will be invaluable to developing Change as we move forward.

With a blue chip client list that includes Standard Life, Aegon, National Australia Group, Royal Bank of Scotland, Morgan Stanley, Scottish Widows, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young, Change Recruitment Group underwent a successful management buyout in December 2006, led by Suzanne Ramsay and backed by private equity bank, NBGI.

With offices in Edinburgh and Glasgow, the company has 136 consultants working across its four separate divisions and 10 different industry sectors including financial services, legal, accountancy and call centres. The company offers international recruitment and project management of high volume recruitment campaigns (RPO) and the provision of outsourced recruitment services.
