Senior managers and leading consultants are invited to apply to join Kennedy ís innovative Doctoral Programme where their prior work becomes the knowledge base to generate new management thinking and contribute to their own best practice,as opposed to undertaking a theoretical programme of study.Now in its third intake,the Programme starts in September 2006.
Participants on the Senior Executive Action Learning (SEAL)Programme, leading to the award of a D.Phil by Explication,continue in their roles whilst studying.Dr Joanna Kozuba-Kozubska,UK Director of Studies,said ëThe two-
year,programme offers senior practitioners and managers the opportunity to ëmine í their experience and identify their original ideas which they can use to support truly learning organisations or differentiate themselves in a new career, perhaps as successful consultants.í Kennedy ís blend of ëexplication í and ëAction Learning í in Doctoral study is accredited through the International Management
Centres Association.
Typically,participants have significant and documented management and leadership experience,a Masters degree or professional equivalent.Graduates receive a professional doctorate and can gain recognition as a leader in their field through help to publish their work.
