NORAS figures released today will make it easier for recruiters to select the right website to advertise their accountancy and finance vacancies.
Of the 22 job boards taking part in NORAS 2006 GAAPweb has the highest percentage of candidates currently performing Accountancy/Finance roles (75%). A further 9% of GAAPweb candidates have consulting, banking and general management roles. 81,003 unique users visited GAAPweb during the NORAS survey in November 2005.

NORAS 2006 clearly illustrates the calibre of candidates using GAAPweb compared to the survey average across 22 job boards.
GAAPweb leads the way in terms of number of users possessing a professional qualification. 67% of GAAPweb users possess a professional qualification, the highest percentage obtained by any NORAS participating site.
In addition, 84% of GAAPweb users state their highest qualification is a Degree, a Higher Degree or a Professional Qualification. A massive 95% of GAAPweb users had more than 3 yearsí work experience.
GAAPweb users have higher average salaries (46.9k), are older (38.2 years) and of a higher social grade than average ñ 89% are social grade ABC1.
Jobs sites a key job seeking resource
The NORAS 2006 report reflects the high value of the Internet and of online jobs sites as a key job seeking resource. 75% of all participants had applied for job found online, 68% of those had obtained an interview and 52% of interviewees had gone on to obtain jobs.
GAAPweb users were particularly ëjobs site savvyí compared to the survey average. 86% of users had applied for a job online and 71% had secured an interview for a job found online.
