Jark Recruitment is pleased to announce two new office openings in Chelmsford and Nottingham bringing the companyís total number of offices to ten. The company embarked on an expansion plan at the beginning of the year to further establish their national presence and seize new opportunities in the recruitment market. This expansion plan also includes a new industrial division in Peterborough.
John Buckman, managing director of Jark Recruitment, comments: ìWe have had a nationwide spread as a recruitment provider for several years now but have operated predominantly out of our East Anglian offices. Nottingham greatly appealed to us as the home city for our flagship Midlands branch for several reasons. It has been identified by the government as a city playing a central role in the UKís economy and has a large skilled workforce. The forecasted economic growth and development for Nottingham matches Jarkís own expansion plans, and we look forward to developing our business alongside the city and economy as they grow.î
John continues; ìThe Chelmsford construction office opened in March to capitalise on the supply chain opportunities for infrastructure, development and regeneration work in preparation for the 2012 Olympics. There is a massive demand for construction skills in London and the surrounding areas highlighted by the delay in finishing Wembley stadium. Over the next six to 12 months, we will be consolidating our position in Chelmsfordís recruitment market and preparing ourselves to be ëfit to supplyí Olympic contracts by mid 2007. With nine new stadiums, a 500-acre Olympic site in Stratford, a 17 billion regeneration of the capitalís transport systems and massive redevelopment of Stratfordís schools, hospitals, housing and derelict sites, construction skills are going to be stretched to the limit ñ so it is crucial for us as a specialist construction recruitment supplier to be in the area and capitalise on demand.î
And to finish off a trio of new openings ñ Jark has doubled the size of the Peterborough office, adding an industrial sector to the townís established construction branch, increasing the branch turnover to 2.6 million a year.
John concludes: ìThe Peterborough expansion consolidates not only the ambitions for the industrial sector, but for the company. Jarkís aim is to open four offices in 2006 and increase turnover by 39 per cent. Our team wholeheartedly believes in the business and what we have to offer to clients, and as a team, we are jointly ambitious about the future of Jark Recruitment.î
