Members from across the UK and Continental European Network were recognised during the gala awards dinner in Athens, with Network Members from Spain, Germany and the UK coming up trumps. The winners, reflecting on their own experiences, give an interesting insight into trends across the various industries within which they operate.

Luis Alvarez, Owner of MRINetwork MCR International, based in Madrid, won both the ìOffice of the Yearî award for achieving the highest revenue and also the award for the office with the largest percentage growth within the network. His team specialises in careers for executives, professionals and technical specialists within the pharmaceutical, medical devices, biotech, construction and telecoms industries.

Robert Weichsberger, a partner of MRINetwork MPW Executive Search, collected the award for winning the ìOwner/Manager of the Yearî, being the top billing owner in Europe. His clients are among some of the worldís largest fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) companies and he has been sourcing candidates for them since 2001. His Munich based office was also awarded membership to WHO is WHO in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland 2007 last year.
There is currently significant growth in the consumer goods sector, thatís where Iím seeing a huge demand for highly qualified candidates says Robert Weichsberger, MRINetwork MPW Executive Search. ìin addition to this, there is also a marked increase in recruitment within health and wellness sectorî.
