Morgan McKinley Launches in the Netherlands

Morgan McKinley, is expanding its operations into central Europe with the opening of an office in the Netherlands.

A member of international recruitment group, Imprint Plc, Morgan McKinleyís sister company ECHM has been present in the Dutch market since 2001. The Morgan McKinley operation will now work alongside ECHMís existing business to service the hiring needs of the investment banking and financial services institutions in the Netherlands. ECHM focuses on the placement of finance professionals into commercial firms in the region.

The Morgan McKinley office in Amsterdam launches with an experienced team of consultants in place covering permanent and interim roles within the banking, asset management and insurance sectors across the Netherlands.

Morgan McKinleyís entry into the Dutch market could not come at a more pertinent time with many of the major financial services providers who already have a presence in the region now being joined by other banking, investment management and private equity houses. With the Netherlandsí enviable location at the heart of central Europe, the office opening will provide excellent access to candidates from continental Europe. This is particularly significant given the current shortage of skilled professionals available across the financial services sector in the Netherlands as well as the wider international marketplace.

To establish the brand within the buoyant Dutch market, Caroline Waylen, Managing Consultant has relocated from Morgan McKinleyís London office. Caroline has eight years of financial services recruitment experience. This includes five and a half years at Badenoch and Clark where she led a team of seven banking finance temporary consultants before moving to Morgan McKinleyís London office in 2004 to manage its finance temporary division. Caroline and her team in Amsterdam will focus on providing permanent and interim recruitment solutions across the following areas; asset management, banking, finance and accountancy, banking operations, credit, risk and quantitative finance, insurance, investment banking and capital markets and compliance.
