Milkround.com leads the way in online graduate recruitment

Milkround.com has been confirmed as a leader in online graduate recruitment, boasting more than two million page impressions and 160,000 unique users to the website in October.

Figures released today from the first ever ABCe audit of Milkround.com reveal the site received a total of 160,481 unique users in October, averaging nearly 8,000 a day, and 2,067,627 page impressions - nearly 67,000 daily.

The official release comes hot on the heels of the site crossing the 400,000 registered user mark for the first time. Its database of students and graduates looking for internships, placements, graduate schemes and jobs now stands at over 415, 000 registered users after collecting 150,000 new registrations in 2007.

The passing of the database milestone and ABCe figures capped a fantastic year for the website in 2007.

As well as attracting a huge amount of traffic, Milkround.com celebrated another year of success for its client services in the AGR/Barker's National Graduate Media Audit. It was ranked as the most effective media for filling immediate vacancies, most effective online media for raising company profiles or developing an understanding of a company and most effective website for directing traffic to websites or events.

Milkround.com was also named as the choice of more than three quarters of jobseeking final year students. According to research by High Fliers, 40 percent of students in their final year of study search for a graduate job and 32 percent use Milkround.com. These figures suggest 80 percent of finalist use Milkround.com to hunt for their graduate job.

The continued success of Milkround.com has been bolstered by the introduction of an online scheme enabling students to sign up friends and colleagues, development of innovative Facebook application My Dream Job to give client vacancies even greater exposure and links with key student sites as well as other online acquisition tactics. Further enhancements to the website itself are in the pipeline for 2008 and January has already proved to be a record month for new registrations and site traffic.
