Meyler Campbell Announces Places Available for its 2006/2007 Business Coach Programme

The announcement follows the recent graduation ceremony for the 2005 programme

The coaching consultancy Meyler Campbell today announced that it is taking applications for its 2006/2007 Business Coachô programme. The announcement follows the recent graduation ceremony for the 2005 programme, where graduates consisted of senior business leaders, HR Directors and learning and development specialists from some of the UK and Europeís best-known companies and institutions, including British Aerospace, Hewlett Packard, law firm Pinsent Masons and London Business School.

Said John Bailey, Director of Coaching at KPMG: ìMeyler Campbellís Business Coach programme has more than met my needs and has played a significant part in my personal development. The programme provided me with the opportunity to be a learner and to obtain invaluable feedback and insights into my coaching skills and style. I regarded the coaching sessions and pre-meeting phone sessions as sacrosanctî.

Business Coachô is Meyler Campbellís flagship programme to train people to coach in demanding business contexts and is fast becoming a recognised qualification in business coaching. Underpinned by comprehensive research and a tutorial-focused approach, the programme accommodates personal learning preferences, builds on existing knowledge and introduces the concept of ’live learning’, where the participant is either being coached by the tutor, or working as a coach with colleagues.

The Business Coachô programme is either taught one-on-one or within syndicates and has flexible start and end dates based on the participantsí requirements. The course typically takes between eight and twelve months and costs 8,500 VAT if done individually or 6,750 VAT per person for a syndicate of three.

Meyler Campbell also offers an active alumni programme for Business Coachô graduates. Business Coachô is the only coaching programme to be accredited by the Law Society of England and Wales.

Said Anne Scoular, Managing Director of Meyler Campbell:

ìWe are delighted to be launching our 2006/2007 Business Coach programme today. We are enormously proud of the seniority of the participants and the bespoke design around the needs of each participant, and believe that Business Coach offers something that many courses donít ñ hands on coaching development but within the context of each personís day to day business activities.î

The Meyler Campbell coaches that run the programme are highly qualified coaches and trainers of coaches with previous experience in the business world, and in particular that of professional and financial services.

These individuals are of the highest calibre and include:

an ex-diplomat and former international banker who has 20 years experience in business performance consultancy and is a visiting lecturer at London Business School;

a former Group Personnel Director for both a leading City-based financial institution and a major international investment bank; and

an academic and lecturer at the forefront of the emerging discipline of Positive Psychology.

Meyler Campbell coaches also have an impressive list of academic publications and research papers to their names.
