Eutopia, the award-winning, global specialist telecoms and technology recruiter has pledged its continued support this Christmas to JENGA ñ a registered Non-Governmental Organisation which provides day-to-day essentials such as water, sanitation, health and education to the most needy communities in Uganda, especially targeting women, children and orphans.
Managing Director at Eutopia, Craig Coverman comments:
ìOver the last few years we have really seen the difference our decision to donate our Christmas card budget has made to JENGAís projects. It is truly inspiring what charities like JENGA can achieve with even a seemingly small amount of money! For example, the first Christmas we donated money to the charity we effectively paid for the roof on a new school in Uganda. The second year, we sponsored a clean water project which was quite literally the difference between life and death for many, and last year we sponsored a community education programme.
ìThis year we are sponsoring a vocational education programme in the poorest slum in Mbale, Uganda. It is incredible to see what can be achieved with our help and it is even better to be able to receive updates on the projects and how work is progressing ñ my advice to any company considering a charity donation this Christmas or the next is donít hesitate - go for it - it truly is a great thing to do!î
JENGA is currently focusing its efforts in three key locations which represent the poorest communities within Mbale; two slum areas; Namatala and Misoto and a mountainous rural area, Mooni. For more information about JENGA and its programmes please visit www.jengauganda.org
