Meet Skillsarena at CIPD 2004

Skillsarena the UK leader in online skills assessment, is exhibiting at CIPD 2004 (Stand A40) at the Harrogate International Centre on 27 - 29 October.
Visitors will be able to trial the companyís online skills assessment and testing facilities.

These include Skillsarenaís Create your Own module, where tests are designed by employers to enable them to create bespoke, job - specific tests for both existing and potential employees, giving them complete freedom in their method of assessments. Q & A formats include visual and audio, multiple-choice, true and false and open ended questions. Other modules include MS Office, Aptitude, Clerical and Call Centre- an audio based assessment designed to test accuracy, speed, concentration and listening skills.

Jane Owen, Sales Director at Skillsarena, comments on the importance of companies using online assessment and training methods; ìRecent research has indicated that in Europe we are failing to provide skills development for our staff, on average companies are only investing 0.005 % of their revenue in skills development. Assessing and measuring peopleís skills for training and development purposes should be a fundamental part of todayís business strategy. Skillsarenaís tests are currently available in English, Spanish, French, German and Dutch, as well as Latvian, Russian and Polish versions.
