On May 29, Working Worlds, the job fair on Second Life, sets a rendezvous for employment!

The virtual recruitment exhibition opens its doors to the Benelux countries.

Encouraged by the tremendous success of the first edition, the Luxembourg based company GAX Technologies SA is expanding the organization of its recruitment exhibition on the Second Life platform, to the Benelux countries.

The biggest employers in Belgium, the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg will attend, and will receive the candidates in their virtual offices or in the Business Center that Working Worlds makes available to Internet users.

This new method of recruitment, very in tune with our modes of communication, has now become essential!

Candidates from all over the world will be present.

Thanks to the Working Worlds exhibition, the companies on the lookout for these new talents in the areas of finance, information and telecommunications, industry and commerce, present a creative and dynamic image of their entity. Cornlia den Hartog, Managing Director of Gax Technologies, and organizer of the show, is entirely convinced. The tremendous success of the first exhibition held in November 2007, confirms the quality and originality of this new method of recruitment.

The need for companies to have to attract new profiles from beyond the territorial limits is becoming more and more important. The Working Worlds exhibition in itself is the most efficient solution currently available to these companies.

Without having to deploy significant resources, confirms Cornelia den Hartog. Our partners will be in direct contact with candidates who will not have to travel, but who may meet ìLive their future employer.

Just for the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, the previous salon is already the best concretization of the concept. Indeed, with more than 2,000 visitors, 1,500 candidates who filed their CV and 300 interviews that took place, the result has by far exceeded our expectations, and no less than 50 job openings had been filled.

Aside from recruiting events, Working Worlds organizes throughout the year, meetings with different topics. On 28 March, we are organizing the first language training session in Luxembourgish. Make a first step towards Luxembourg by learning Luxembourgish!
