The Leicester Head Office of national training standards organisation, ENTO, has been awarded Matrix Standard accreditation, the national quality mark for organisations which provide information, advice and guidance (IAG) to their employees or clients.
ENTOís Head Office has been awarded ëInternalí Matrix Standard accreditation, in recognition of the extremely high standards that it has demonstrated when providing its own employees with information, advice and guidance services.
It took ENTO just six months to achieve Matrix Standard accreditation, which is especially good news for the company ñ as it is actually responsible for the maintenance and promotion of the Matrix Standard, a DfES contract which ENTO has held for almost three years. ENTO has also recently received Matrix Standard accreditation for one of its services, The Learning Network, which was accredited in September 2005.
Formerly the Employment National Training Organisation (Employment NTO), ENTO has enjoyed excellent growth since it began trading just three years ago, and this is most noticeable from the considerable number of staff the company now employs, having grown from 4 to 45. This is one of the main reasons why the organisation decided to work towards Matrix Standard accreditation for its Head Office ñ to ensure the best levels of employee support and ultimately, great company synergy.
The company, which provides products and services to help raise the standards of training offered in the workplace across the UK by developing people who work with people, was highly praised in a number of specific areas for the service it offers to its employees. Areas highlighted included ENTOís culture, ethos and support, its supportive managers and the staff involvement in feedback mechanisms.
ìAs this organisation works so closely with the Matrix Standard, it was essential that we sought to become accredited, to help us to further promote the national quality mark to other organisations,î explains David Morgan, ENTOís Director of Marketing and Communications.
ìHowever, it is undeniable that the Matrix Standard has contributed to this organisationís rapid growth and the Leicester Head Office has been the scene of much of the companyís latest recruitment.
ìDuring accreditation, we realised that we were doing all of the right things to enable us to offer the highest level of IAG to our employees. This, in turn, has strongly confirmed to us that organisations which seek to attain this level of excellence in IAG services for employees or clients, will be far more likely to see an improvement in the performance levels of their operations.î
