Liverpool attracts top class workforce

Relocation to Liverpool seems to be a growing trend according to Liverpool-based recruitment consultancy, Bluefire Consulting.

And the Liverpool Needs You campaign, initiated by Bluefire, has been a major factor in attracting both Liverpool-born people and those from across the UK to Liverpool.

Evidence of this growing trend can be found in recent appointments made by Bluefire. The company has created seven new jobs and more than half of these positions have been filled by people not originally from the city.

Jamie Swain, commercial director at Bluefire, said: We have seen a massive growth in the economy of the city and surrounding districts over the past five years, creating over 50,000 jobs. With this trend looking set to continue, we need to ensure there are enough people to fill the jobs out there and the Liverpool Needs You campaign is doing just that.
