ëLifeWorklifeí (www.lifeworklife.co.uk) is a web based tool that allows its membership to recruit and apply for interim, part-time, job-share and flexible assignments. This offers individuals the benefit of being able to set their own work styles, and companies the ability to recruit from a tried and tested pool of resources.
Don't miss the Online Recruitment Exhibition - Come and see some of the suppliers who can streamline your recruiting efforts. View the Exhibitors here. Complete this enquiry form and a member of the Onrec.com team will be in touch.
The website is different in that the people who become members keep a space on LifeWorklife rather like a social networking site - but with employment as its central aim.
Individuals can maintain a list of potential employers or customers, while organisations can grow their list of potential employees or people who work for them on short-term contracts. Also, they may use this space to keep in touch with their independent resources.
Membership is just 25 for organisations and 7 for individuals per annum.
Kirsten says ëLifeWorklife.co.uk began accepting members in February 2008. We are thrilled to have won an award so early. Our aim is to offer the benefits of flexible working enjoyed by freelance professionals to everyone - cleaners, office workers, typists and bar staff to solicitors, doctors, nurses and business managers.í
MUMSCLICK, www.mumsclick.com, is a unique and vibrant site for the mother who values her interests and ambitions as well as her role as a mother. Members can network with like-minded mothers, share book and music reviews, find recipes or just chat about life in general.
MUMSCLICK also provides a forum for mums to share their business experiences and advice. We are passionate about supporting mothers in business and are delighted to be able to help ëLifeWorklife.co.uk' get this much deserved exposure.
Kirsten thanked MumsClick for the award, ëWe know that mothers working from home are a valuable and under used resource. I will be at the OnRec Conference on the 3rd of June and look forward to speaking to my peers about ways we can work together to bring these resources to the attention of more employersí.
