The London HR Connection (LHRC), is being launched on 1 October 2003. The organisation aims to be the premier networking and development group for HR professionals who wish to meet other HR professionals at lunch time meetings. It is a member led organisation focused on inspiring, informing and challenging HR practitioners within all sectors from across London.
High-level HR and business related subjects will be addressed by speakers who are themselves leading HR practitioners, or senior academics and key service providers to the industry. The LHRC uses action learning so that members can apply newly gained knowledge back into their workplace.
Commenting on the launch Heather White, Chair said: ìTime, effectiveness and business impact is of the essence for todayís HR practitioners. We all need to move with the times and so we have created regular seminars that are highly practical, relevant and usefulî.
The LHRC meets at lunchtime on the first Wednesday of each month from October to June within a variety of venues within Central London.
