A new South African Website www.jobs4u.co.za is launching on 20 August 2004. The campaign behind the website aims to promote online recruitment in South Africa to both the Employment Seeker and Recruiters. Branding the Jobs4U name as well as promoting an alternative to the traditional role of searching for jobs via the printed media are our two main strategies on launching. The South African market is clearly looking for alternatives, with over 1000 unique visitors to the site in less than a week, even before launching our marketing campaign.
The technology supporting the website comprises a comprehensive and flexible database, which will allow us to provide many value added functions for the recruiter and job seeker in the short to medium term. Providing tools which aim to make the recruiters work day and functions more efficient, less monotonous and less time consuming, allowing recruiters to focus more of their precious time on deliverables and maintenance and expansion of new business.
Job Seekers complete a C.V. template, meeting all the specifications and requirements of the Recruiters, as well as being supported by search and filter criteria, to make for a more efficient and streamlined short-listing process.
Jobs4U will initially target the local job market, although there are already over 80 international jobs listed on the site at present. It is our intention to partner with international online recruitment players in the market to provide both a local and international source of candidates and jobs.
