A fusion of experience, innovation and best practice has led to the creation of a new national recruitment consultancy specialising in the built and natural environment.
Fusion People is the brainchild of Paul Metcalfe, former Managing Director of the agency AndersElite. It will offer clients a comprehensive range of technical recruitment services including contract staffing, managed staffing and permanent recruitment.
Based in Southampton, with regional offices in Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, London and Manchester, Fusion People has adopted an innovative approach towards the recruitment of its own staff.

The Fusion People web site also reflects the innovative nature of the company. Once candidates have submitted their CV online, a revolutionary extractor tool automatically fills in the agency registration form for them and sets up a personalised account. From here there is unlimited access to search the job database, job alerts by e-mail and sms, details on prospective employers, and the option to apply for jobs on-line and track applications.

Paul, who left AndersElite in September 2003 after helping it grow turnover from 20m to 90m, has succeeded in attracting many of his former colleagues at AndersElite to join him in the new venture.
