Labour law specialist goes for recruitment

Labour law and industrial relations specialist, Van Zyl, Rudd & Associates (VZR), is extending its human resources service by establishing a recruitment division

Labour law and industrial relations specialist, Van Zyl, Rudd & Associates (VZR), is extending its human resources service by establishing a recruitment division.

Director Karen Latter says VZR was established in 1990 and the group is experienced in labour law, industrial relations, training, publication and software development as well as consulting, so recruitment is a natural development.

Fair labour practice starts with the recruitment process. If this is flawed the entire HR management of a business is flawed. VZR Staffing Solutions offers access to labour law and IR expertise, which means more than just procedural fairness in recruitment processes. It includes employment equity, affirmative action and other areas of HR.

Latter believes many recruitment companies have been too quick to move into the big numbers game, looking for quantity rather than quality of candidates. Consultants will get a holistic picture of their staffing requirements and work at acquiring a larger and larger portion of their staffing business over time.

We also guarantee our candidates a focused, personalised and professional service, which acknowledges that their priority of being placed is often an immediate and pressing issue. Our approach to our clients is simply that they are of first and foremost importance and we commit ourselves to conducting our business to prove this.
