Joe Michaud, joins the AIM Group / Classified Intelligence as senior consultant

Joe Michaud, a veteran interactive-media publisher whose sites have won numerous awards for excellence, has joined the AIM Group and Classified Intelligence as a senior consultant, founding principal Peter M. Zollman announced today.

Michaud has a long track record as a reporter, editor and videographer, including seven years as city editor of the Portland (Maine) Press Herald. In September 1995, he and the paper launched MaineToday.com, one of the first newspaper-affiliated Web sites. Most recently, he has served as president of the interactive-media division of Blethen Maine Newspapers. He is also vice president of the New England New Media Association.

ìJoe understands local interactive media better than almost anyone in the business,î said Zollman. ìHeís already working with our clients on several projects, and we expect him to help them, and others, strengthen their revenue and grow their audiences.î

In addition to serving as a consultant, Michaud will contribute to a new AIM Group blog launching shortly and will write regular ìcenterpieceî reports about classified and interactive media for Classified Intelligence Report, the companyís continuous advisory service.
