JOBX launches national happiness at work index

In partnership with The Happiness Institute, JOBX has piloted the ìNational Happiness at Work Indexî.

Happiness enhances personal effectiveness which in turn drives performance. When people love their jobs, they are more productive, creative and motivated. They're also happier in life. Similarly, happy companies find they are more efficient, innovative and make more money than their unhappy competitors.

Whilst organisations regularly take measures of productivity, profitability, performance, turnover, and return on investment, there has been no vehicle for measuring their employeesí happiness. That is until now.
The Index will provide organisations with the means to measure happiness at work and understand and quantify the connection between happiness and the bottom line.

JOBX is currently piloting the Index with the support of a number of high profile organisations across a range of industries and professions. It will be the most comprehensive study of its kind ever conducted in Australia. The National Happiness at Work Index will be officially launched after the pilot is complete and will be reported on quarterly.

Participation the pilot index is at not cost to organisations and places are limited.
