Jobsite, the UKís Internet recruitment service, announced its partnership with an alliance of leading job sites across Europe. The new alliance entitled the ëEuropean Recruitment Allianceí will allow Jobsite and its partners to target new markets, and in the long term, significantly extend each siteís reach, capabilities and footprint across Europe. The overall aim of the alliance is to cater for qualified jobseekers and candidates looking for work outside of their country and large European corporations and recruitment agencies seeking qualified candidates.
With a combined turnover of 28 million Euros, each jobsite was chosen due to their similar belief in placing the right candidates to the right jobs, brand recognition and for the large number of users in their markets which equals over 3 million unique users actively using the job boards per month.
The four European partners include CADREMPLOI (France), InfoEmpleo (Spain), Jobscout24 (Germany) and TrovoJobs (Italy) and are well-known job sites in each of Europeís leading countries. This partnership will enable the alliance to provide career-related information on each of the sites, joint marketing and PR opportunities and vehicles for further revenue. Each site will provide an International section with information and links to each of the partner sites.
The partnership is consistent with Jobsiteís strategy to become one of Europeís leading online recruitment firms and represents another milestone towards the creation of an European network. The strategy involves alliances with these foreign job sites, ultimately leading to a country and cultural specific recruitment resource across the continent.
The alliance comes four months after the partnership with CADREMPLOI and a year after Jobsiteís deal with US job site, Careerbuilder.com. Jobsite proactively approached each of the leading recruitment sites with the partnership deal and has further plans to expand the network.
Keith Potts, Managing Director of Jobsite UK commented, ìAs the EU expands we will see more instances occur where boarders will become blurred in the drive to secure talent across continents. We already have the largest number of vacancies compared to our competitors and this gives our clients further benefits as they will now have a one-stop-shop and higher convenience while candidates will have an expanded option of vacancies to choose from.î
Commenting on the partnership, Thibaut Gemignani, MD CADREMPLOI, stated, ìJobsite is seen as the online recruitment leader in the UK and we are delighted to play a role in this partnership of equally strong partners. By working together, we will create added value for both candidates and recruiters as we both share the same focus on quality and results.î
