In an annual 2007 survey, 6FigureJobs.com asked its 500,000 executive and senior-level members about their current employment status. The survey revealed that sixty-four percent (64%) of 6FigureJobsí members are currently employed. Of those presently employed, thirty-eight percent (38%) of those are motivated to move into a new position, while twenty-five percent (25%) are open to new opportunities.
6FigureJobs offers a free $100K job search service that allows its members the convenience to visit the site regularly and entertain possible career opportunities whether they are actively or passively looking. The 6FigureJobs.com site has evolved from an executive job board, to a niche career portal that empowers senior-level professionals to search freely and privately, keeping a close eye on what is out there, and even networking with their peers, said Steve Purello, 6FigureJobs General Manager. We are sending out tens of thousands of job opportunities daily in the form of an automatic job alert that is emailed to members of 6FigureJobs at no charge. Many jobs are exclusive to 6FigureJobs, and the overall pool of listings is supplemented through our JobSweeper(TM) service. JobSweeper(TM) enables users to search for free within the worldís largest job-listings database for positions that pay $100,000 or more annually. There are more than 80,000 job listings currently in our service.
6FigureJobs.com also asked its members if they thought it was appropriate to pay for searching and applying to jobs as required by certain niche job boards. The survey revealed that eighty percent (80%) of 6FigureJobsí executive and senior-level members felt that it was not appropriate that they should pay to search and apply to jobs on other niche job boards. 11% were indifferent. Only 9% felt it was fair to pay.
There is also a tremendous benefit to employers looking for senior-level talent, Purello added. 6FigureJobsí free membership and privacy settings encourage members to maintain his or her resume on 6FigureJobs, whether or not they are looking for a new opportunity. This convenience gives hiring companies more options in their recruiting efforts because they can find and attract seasoned professionals who are either actively or passively looking for opportunities.
Executive members can restrict access to their profile so it can be found only by employers, recruiters, or they can keep it completely hidden. Candidates with their profile hidden then have the option of applying to positions only when they come across one they are interested in.
6FigureJobs, which boasts the largest active recruitment database for senior executives on the Internet, and whose site is unique for its focus on employment opportunities that pay at least $100,000 annually, is used by hundreds of Fortune 1000 companies and seven of the top ten retained executive search firms. The 6FigureJobs database includes more than 500,000 pre-screened members and adds more than 10,000 new registrants each month. All executivesí resumes are reviewed by hand, and every member has a minimum of six years work experience in their field including a $100,000 compensation package. To learn more visit:
