Job Ads Defy Gravity - The Olivier Internet Job Index

The Olivier Internet Job Index rose 5.59% (seasonally adjusted) in February, showing a vigorous leap forward into the new year. That increase is on top of the 6.06% rise in January. Combined, the increases show continuing confidence from employers in defiance of mixed economic indicators.

Just two months into 2006 the Olivier Internet Job Index is in record territory again, with more than 200,000 jobs counted on average each week. The number of jobs continued to grow through February and has plateaued at a new high. Robert Olivier, a director of the Olivier Group observes.
