Jigsol is a young company that provides outsourcing and managed services for start up and growing businesses. The company was set up 3 years ago when the directors spotted a gap in the market. Large businesses were paying huge sums of money for the management of their services but the smaller business could not get the right level of support at a cost effective price.
Jigsol provides businesses with a full range of services covering IT support, accounting, payroll, factoring/debt collection and general back office processing. They also specialise in company formations, tax and employment law, as well as marketing and sales support. Jigsol then moved into the recruitment agency area after being approached by a number of agencies looking for their services to assist with business growth.
Simon Levy from Jigsol takes up the story ìAs our client base increased, their requirements were becoming more diverse. When we took on a temporary recruitment company as a client, their largest overhead in terms of time and cost was the production of the tempís timesheets, invoicing their clients and producing the payroll. As we use Sage Line 50 to produce the accounts for businesses we looked for an integrated recruitment agency timesheet system and found SPA from Accsoft. We contacted Accsoft and they came and demonstrated the product to us. The system covered all the issues our client had and due to its integration to Sage, we could produce all the management information without having to re key dataî.
ìTimesheets are sent to Jigsol and entered once into SPA. This process creates invoices and generates the payroll data. We then run the payroll and pay the temps via BACS using Moorepay. Clients are notified of all timesheets and invoices raised from the management reporting produced from SPA and they know when the money is leaving their accounts to pay people from BACS reportsî.
SPA was demonstrated to Jigsol in the morning and because they were so impressed they placed an immediate order. Accsoft installed SPA and trained Jigsol on the same afternoon. Within 2 days all temps were paid by BACS.

Looking to the future, Jigsol are also looking to extend Accsoft over the Internet to make it easier for clients to manage their rates of pay for temps via spreadsheet integration.
