JenJOBS.com, Malaysiaís second largest job portal, plans to expand its client-base for e-recruitment services nationwide, hoping to reach employers outside the Klang Valley, including Sabah and Sarawak by the end of next year.
Its sales and marketing director Michael Tee said the company expects its clientele to triple during the period.
Currently, we are focusing on those in the Klang Valley, with more than 6,000 recruiters, including from the private sector registered with JenJOBS.com.
At the same time, there are between 250,000 and 300,000 job seekers who also use our job portal, he told reporters in Petaling Jaya yesterday.
Launched in June last year, Tee said, JenJOBS.com offers the e-recruitment market a full spectrum of recruitment solutions, ranging from end-to-end solutions to job posting packages and free job ads.
He said JenJOBS.com strives to lower recruitment costs and shorten the recruitment cycle and believes online recruitment is fast becoming a trend worldwide. In the US, for instance, more than 70 per cent of job recruitments are done online.
Tee said JenJOBS.com is backed by 16 years of recruitment experience, by virtue of its sister company Jen International Executive Search.
He said employers can acquire the best talents to match their exacting business requirements, through a combination of premium search and top-of-the-range headhunting services.
On the most popular positions sought by job seekers and employers through JenJOBS.com, Tee said: We received quite a lot of queries, both from job seekers and employers for positions on the technical side. These especially come from MSC-status companies, those in Penang and Kulim and the manufacturing sector.
