Beleaguered Big Brother star Jade Goody has suffered another set back six out of ten Brits wouldnt even lend her enough change to get her car out of a car park, according to a new poll.
Research by the Credit Show found that Jade, who was embroiled in a race row on ton the celebrity version of the reality show, is by far and away the least popular of four famous people that voters were asked to say whether they would lend parking money to if they were approached by them in a car park.
Even tough-talking millionaire businessman and star of the UKs The Apprentice, Sir Alan Sugar, garnered more sympathy than Jade almost three quarters of people said they would lend him money to get his Rolls Royce out of the car park, where as less than a third said they would help Jade.
In fact the exact same number of people that said they would help Sir Alan also agreed they would lend money to football pundit Gary Lineker and the Queen if they found themselves short of cash in a car park.
The poll was commissioned, by the Credit Show, as Celebrity Big Brother began, but before the race row with Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty blew up. Spokesperson Kelly Stanley explains: The question was designed to find out which of the celebs people thought would be most likely to pay them back, but the results show that the majority of people would help out another person in need, no matter who they are unless they are Jade!<:p>
So it seems this is not an issue of trust, but more about sympathy and fairness, and the UK public has lost sympathy for Jade. Only around two out of ten people said they would not lend cash to Sir Alan, Gary Lineker or the Queen but that hardened to a whopping six out of ten for Jade. Most people would rather leave her stuck in the car park than give her some change.
