IrishJobs.ie has maintained its position as Irelandís leading recruitment website, the latest Joint National Internet Research (JNIR) results has revealed.
This is the first full year of JNIR, the most comprehensive research project conducted in Ireland on internet usage, spanning the period July 2007 to June 2008.
Of the 18 participating websites including Yahoo.ie, Rte.ie and Eircom.net, IrishJobs.ie is ranked the 5th most visited site in Ireland and the most visited recruitment website in the country.
Research shows that the majority of traffic to IrishJobs.ie is ABC1 defined with 65% aged between 26-45 yrs old.
Findings also showed that 51% of Irish adults are now connecting to the internet – thatís almost 1.8million of the total population while 22% of the adult population is going online every day.
