Mr. Smith has a particular interest and expertise in generational difference since his exploration began in 2001 with a request from Deloitteís CEO to study generational differences then beginning to manifest in the workplace. Today with two thirds of the Deloitte workforce in client facing roles under the age of 35, the topic of generational differences has developed into a business strategy, Next Generation Initiatives, of which Mr. Smith is National Director.
