InfoBasis joins forces with American IT

US IT training organisation adopts InfoBasisí skills management technology to broaden its client services

InfoBasis, the UKs provider of skills management technology, has joined forces with American IT, a consortium of leading US IT training companies. Using InfoBasisí technology, American IT will provide skills assessment services to better align their training offerings to their clientsí needs.

American IT, which offers certified training for Microsoft, Cisco and Citrix technologies in 70 US cities via 50 training partners, will use InfoBasisí Readiness Manager to analyse and monitor skills of each clientís employees; compare the current skills level of the clientís workforce to the organisationís requirements; and create a suggested training plan per employee to bridge the skills gap.

The combination of InfoBasisí technology with American ITís services will make it easier for American ITís clients to ensure that their training budgets are spent efficiently and effectively.

ìThereís been plenty of talk about training needs analysis,î said John Cooke, vice president of Sales, North America at InfoBasis. ìThis partnership has created an integrated service combining skills management and training services so companies can identify gaps in their IT skills, and then take action to correct the deficiencies.î

ìOrganisational skills assessment is a crucial part to the success of enterprise training initiatives,î said Michael Ruark, President of American IT. ìThis partnership gives our company a better understanding of the training needs of our clients.î
