IMC deputy chairman leaves Penna to head water for Fish learning business

Water for Fish announces the appointment of Jeremy Webster as the new head of its Learning business

Water for Fish - the people and organisation consultancy - announces the appointment of Jeremy Webster as the new head of its Learning business. From this month Jeremy also becomes Deputy Chairman of the UKís Institute of Management Consultancy (IMC).

Jeremy is an experienced HR Management Consultant, having spent the last 16 years working with clients in both the Private and Public Sectors in the UK and Europe. He has broad expertise across the range of HR consultancy, particularly in Learning and Development and Change Management. In 2004, before joining Water for Fish, Jeremy completed an eight-month secondment in the Cabinet Office and Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Whitehall. He set up a central career management and job brokerage service for senior civil servants who are being displaced under the Governmentís efficiency and relocation programmes.

Jeremy joins Water for Fish from rival consultancy, Penna plc, where he worked with major plcs and government departments such as ODPM, DEFRA and MoD. In 2001, he set up and led Pennaís Public Sector Unit, which delivered a three-fold increase in revenue from the Public Sector by the end of 2004.

As well as being Deputy Chairman of the Institute of Management Consultancy, where he focuses on the development of professional standards and qualifications, Jeremy is also a school governor in his home town of Aylesbury and a Princeís Trust business mentor, supporting disadvantaged young people set up and run their own businesses.
