IKMís assessments will form part of EPITA Proís training courses to determine knowledge transfer

IKM, a provider of web-based employee and candidate knowledge measurement solutions and services, and EPITA Pro, the training division of EPITAís data-processing school of engineering, today announced a partnership to optimize training programs.

A member of IONIS Education Group, the leader of private higher education in France, EPITA Pro continues to provide optimal courses to over 20000 students a year.

Specialising in data processing and technologies information training, EPITA Pro wanted to obtain a tool to reliably measure skills prior to and after training of the students attending its courses.

After an extensive evaluation process, EPITA Pro selected IKM because of its unique assessment methodology and proven client base that includes companies like Reuters, Bank of America and Accenture.

IKMís adaptive testing methodology selects questions with a specific level of difficulty based on the assessment-takerís previous responses. This method allows the identification of knowledge levels across sub-topics with far fewer questions.

ìIKM offers one of the most effective and detailed approaches to skills evaluation. We will be able to determine our students exact areas of strengths and weaknesses so that we can tailor training programs and improve training success,î said Fabrice Bardeche EPITA Pro.

IKMís assessments, including its flagship IT assessment product, IKM TeckChekTM, will be incorporated in EPITA Proís courses to test the trainees at the time of their entry through to the time of their exit.

ìWith IKMís assessments we will be able to ensure the students who complete our courses have received the level of knowledge required in the most efficient way,î said Fabrice Bardeche EPITA Pro.

IKM and EPITA Pro have been working together developing this strategy for the last two years.

ìIKM believes the best approach to training is using ATAC, Assess-Train-Assess-Certify. We are delighted to partner with EPITA Pro to execute this approach that will improve training effectiveness and reduce training costsî, said Dr Marie-Paule Donsimoni, CEO, IKM.
