IKEA selects BrassRing as its global talent management platform

.

ARINSO International to implement e-recruitment solution worldwide

IKEA has announced that it has selected BrassRing, provider of Talent Management solutions, as its global e-recruitment platform. ARINSO International (Euronext Brussels: ARIN), the European specialist in HR Management Systems, will implement this ambitious project for the leading home furnishings retailer over the next 16 months in 42 countries and over 20 languages worldwide. IKEA will be making substantial investments in Talent Management to increase both the effectiveness and the efficiency of its global recruitment activities.

Recruitment is a particularly important HR process for IKEA both in terms of value and cost. Handling applications efficiently has a significant influence on IKEAís brand as an employer and as a retailer. Its ambition is to significantly improve the global recruitment process, offering higher quality at a lower cost, by using state-of-the-art technology based on world-class practices.
This project will allow IKEA to streamline its recruitment processes, build relationships with targeted pools of talent, and increase internal talent deployment across the globe.

IKEA selected BrassRing Enterprise 5.0 from a longlist of potential software vendors after a pilot evaluation that will form the basis for the common configuration during roll-out. From Norwegian to Chinese, IKEA will use BrassRing Enterprise to ultimately standardize the recruiting process globally. ARINSO advised on the selection of the platform, and is supporting IKEA in the global roll-out of the project.

The recruitment process at IKEA is highly labor-intensive and therefore not standardized across the globe. The paper based process puts a lot of pressure on the recruiters. As a result, IKEA has decided to invest in a Talent Management platform to leverage leading recruitment practices and deploy scale effects.

ìIKEA is a leading employer ñ so we are proud to help their HR organization become a world-class recruiter. With a rapidly growing number of new hires per year due to the groupís rapid expansion, the return on investment for a global e-recruitment solution is pretty obvious. We are convinced that many retailers will be looking at IKEAís state-of-the-art project with great interest. ARINSO and BrassRing will help IKEA address this critical HR process on a global levelî, comments Rudy Vandenberghe, ARINSO Internationalís Executive Vice President HR Strategy & BPO.

ìBrassRing is committed to delivering robust talent management solutions to global companies seeking to optimize their recruiting practices,î explains John Haworth, Executive Vice President of BrassRing. ìIn selecting BrassRing Enterprise as their global solution IKEA joins a select group of companies leading the way to true global talent management. We are honored to be the company selected to help them deliver on their global strategic talent vision.î
