The IHRIM Board of Directors recently elected officers for a one-year term, beginning January 1, 2005. They will serve on the IHRIM Executive Committee with Board Chair, Nov Omana, who is entering the second of his two-year term. Jacqueline Kuhn, manager of HR Technology at Sears Roebuck Co., will be serving as Vice Chair after serving for a year as Chief Financial Officer. Jim Pettit, president of Talent Management Systems, Inc., will serve as Chief Financial Officer, and Diane Panting, senior consultant with Aon Consulting will serve as Secretary.
Jacqueline Kuhn has been in human resources for more than 20 years and has held positions in HR systems management, consulting, sales and account management. She has spent most of her career managing HRMS systems implementations and related processes. In her current role at Sears, she is responsible for the strategy, selection, deployment and vendor management for enterprise wide HR Systems. Ms. Kuhn has been a member of IHRIM since 1991, and she has served in volunteer capacities at the chapter and international level. She was honored at IHRIMís 2001 Spring Conference as the Midwest Chapterís member of the year.
Jim Pettit has more than 25 years experience as an HR systems manager for Vitro Corporation, HR systems and implementation consultant and project manager for AG Consulting, and a practice area manager and a director of resource management for ADPís Professional Services. He has been an IHRIM member for 15 years and has been active as a chapter president and board member for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter, and has served on the Conference Committee and Finance Committee.
Diane Panting, an IHRIM board member since 2003, is based in Winnipeg, Canada and practices in the area of general human resource management and works with clients in all sectors. She is a Canadian Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP), a Certified Personnel Professional (IPMA-CP), and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) through WorldatWork. Ms. Panting has been involved with IHRIM since 1994 and is the founding and current president of the Great Prairie Chapter.
