HR.com Hosts Inaugural Human Resources Pavilion at FOSE 2006

FOSE, the technology event serving the government marketplace, attracts 25,000 government professionals

HR.com, the largest research and Web destination for human resources (HR) executives, today announced that it is hosting the first-ever HR-targeted pavilion at FOSE 2006 (www.fose.com). FOSE takes place on March 7-9, 2006 at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C.

We are very proud to be partnering with the PostNewsweek Tech Media on this venture, says Debbie McGrath, CEO of HR.com. Today’s HR executive must be a strategic business partner with the rest of the organization, and HR professionals who attend FOSE can keep current on trends in the marketplace. HR.com will hold a series of workshops for the HR team during FOSE.

HR.com will also bring a number of firms who provide technology and services for the HR function. Federal, state and local governments employ workers of almost every description, and three out of five federal employees hold managerial, business or professional jobs--double the proportion for the workforce as a whole. This makes the government one of the largest markets for firms selling technology solutions for the HR department.

Registration for FOSE is free for military and government professionals and $50 for industry. To register for FOSE 2006 or for more information about the event go to www.FOSE.com or call 1-800-791-FOSE.

For further information about HR.com’s presence at FOSE, contact Terri Joosten, VP, Events and Business Development, tjoosten@hr.com.
