Hitchenor Wakeford growth continues

Rapid growth at executive search consultancy Hitchenor Wakeford has been further bolstered with the arrival of Gary Chaplin as an equity director at the companyís Manchester office.

A well known and respected face in the region, Chaplin specialises in placing financial and general management executives in the 70k - 300k salary bracket.

He has joined Hitchenor Wakeford from Imprint plc.

Just two weeks into his new job and he is already searching for Finance Directors to join two high profile Manchester companies.

Chaplin, 34, says an abundance of investment money in the city means thereís a lot of heat in the headhunting market:

Deal activity is very lively at the moment, with lots of IPOs, public to privates and acquisitions. This has had a great knock-on effect for us because many companies are keen to put new management teams in place.
