High-flying pros find flexible working with PQFlex.com

High-flying professionals such as top lawyers, accountants and management consultants can work the hours they choose following the launch of specialist London based recruitment business PQFlex.com. This meets the growing demand for workplace flexibility by matching proven big hitters with employers who require their talents for a limited number of days each week.

There is a vast but largely untapped market for motivated, high calibre professionals who relish and desire the challenge of firing on all cylinders, but for a variety of reasons only want to do so for one, two or three days a week, says Tim Latham, founder and managing director of
PQFlex.com.

We aim to match their skills with flexible employers who want to gain an edge in the war for talent, and would prefer high-impact chunks of quality work to full-time mediocrity.

PQFlex.com will form a talent pool for highly qualified business people - including accountants, lawyers, management consultants, corporate financiers, and marketing and HR professionals - who want to limit their working hours. Many may currently be employed in full-time roles.

It is expected to prove especially attractive to those with childcare commitments, such as women who may have been on maternity leave and wish to resume their careers while still leaving ample time for their families.

Potential employers could include small businesses which need top professionals for short bursts of activity to help them meet ambitious growth targets or special project requirements. Alternatively, they could be seeking the other half of a job share with one of their existing high performers.

PQFlex.com has been launched as a separate division of Director Resourcing, an independent, London based senior executive search firm set up by Mr Latham in 2000. Before that Mr Latham was a senior member of staff at PricewaterhouseCoopers Executive Search and Selection.
