Capital Consulting, leading Recruitment Outsourcing specialists, and Cranfield School of Management are collaborating to conduct ground-breaking research into talent management in the UK and invite participation from interested organisations.
The research project will examine the definition of ëtalentí within different organisations and investigate current practices in the acquisition, development and management of talent, particularly those that can be described as ëbest practiceí. It will also assess the impact of talent management on the bottom line, and provide a framework by which the value of talent can be measured.
Companies wishing to participate in the study can do so by completing an online questionnaire before 8th May at here. All participants will receive a free copy of the research report and be invited to attend the launch of the findings.
As part of the study a number of organisations that are identified as using ëgood practiceí in the area of talent management will be examined in depth by Dr. Emma Parry, Research Fellow at the Human Resource Research Centre at Cranfield School of Management. Organisations interested in being case studies are invited to contact Joanne Lemon at Capital Consulting via email joannelemon@capitalconsulting.com
Jeremy Tipper, founder and MD of Capital Consulting says: ìIdentifying, attracting, securing, measuring, fostering and managing talent are perennial challenges for any organisation and keep many HR professionals awake at night. We think such an important issue warrants serious investigation and would love to hear from organisations wishing to participate in this major study which will provide a framework for measuring the impact of talent on the bottom line ñ the holy grail of HR.î
The UK Talent Report will be issued in June this year.
