Harvey Nash announce the appointment of Rob Hughes, Director Government & Public Services Practice

Rob Hughes joins Harvey Nash Executive Search within the Government & Public Services practice. Under the leadership of Head of Practice, Noorzaman Rashid, Rob will focus specifically on Local Government and the associated agencies.

Rob is an experienced public sector consultancy director. He worked for ten years as a Senior Manager in local government, having begun his career in the management of Social Services. He then moved on to policy development, where he led the central policy service of the London Borough of Southwark.

Rob went on to develop his reputation as a management consultant, specialising in strategic change, working with a wide range of local authorities. He became Senior Manager for Local Government at Unisys, and then went on to become Director for Local Government at Tribal Consulting.

Commenting on Robís appointment, Noorzaman Rashid said, ìWe have studied the local government employment market and recognise that councils are crying out for faster, more reliable and cost-effective recruitment solutions. Rob will be key in helping Harvey Nash deliver sustainable solutions.î
