Greater Manchester firms targeted by graduate only recruitment business

Greater Manchester businesses are being targeted by a new recruitment company dedicated to providing firms with graduates.

E-Grad is launched this week by Manchester city centre based business support agency Blue Orchid. E-Grad spokesperson Monnica Fitzpatrick said it aims to fill a gap in the local recruitment market for businesses wanting to employ graduates.

ìThe beauty of this scheme is that it makes graduate recruitment easier for firms,î she said. ìBusinesses can trial a top class graduate on a 16 week placement to see if they are right for the job. Instead of hitting firms with industry standard charges and one off fees we offer the unique chance to spread the cost. The placements can be used to mould the graduate for a permanent position or harness their skills for short term business growth or project work. For graduates we offer essential industry experience as well as the chance of securing full-time graduate level employment.î

Ms Fitzpatrick said a key objective of E-Grad is to provide businesses with talented, enthusiastic graduates who fits their needs.
