Great Job opportunities at Careers and Jobs LIVE and the GRADfair

Job seekers looking for an exciting career opportunity should head over to Careers and Jobs Live and theGRADfair, the leading series of recruitment and training exhibitions, where there are some great jobs on offer. If youíve ever fancied working behind the scenes on The X Factor, The Bill, Da Ali G Show or Never Mind The Buzzcocks, for example, then this is definitely the careers fair for you.

Just confirmed as attending the show will be television production and programming company, FremantleMedia, who will be recruiting for the varied and exciting world of television. So if you are looking for a graduate training scheme opportunity and want to work in the media, then this is the stand to head for. FremantleMedia, who will appear in theGRADfair section of the show, operates globally from America, Asia and South Africa to Latin America, Mexico and Malaysia - so the world could be your oyster at the FremantleMedia stand.

Jarvis Exhibitions, is based on two floors of the world famous Olympia exhibition centre. There is a section for Graduates called theGRADfair on the first floor and a section for jobseekers, job changers and those seeking training called Careers & Jobs Live on the ground floor.

There will be a CV clinic in both sections of the show. The Graduate Recruitment Bureau is running the CV clinic within theGRADfair. Dan Hawes, co-founder of GRB, explains what is on offer: We are providing a free service to those who are looking for assistance with their CV. Many people find that a poor CV is often a barrier when looking for work. We want to help graduates and those still studying to highlight their skills to best effect. At the show visitors will have an opportunity to get a foot through the door with some great organisations such as FremantleMedia and also get some practical advice from the Graduate Recruitment Bureau on how to improve their chances of securing that perfect job.

Visitors will also find details of 1000ís of job opportunities on the popular Wall of Opportunity, which displays thousands of current job vacancies and training opportunities available with to the employerís stand number for instant interviews.

Many blue-chip companies are exhibiting at Careers and Jobs Live including: Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, BP Oil, British Gas, National Air Traffic Services, Department for Education and Skills, NHS, Metropolitan Police, Tesco, First Group Buses and The Teacher Training Agency. The Careers and Jobs Live section is based on the ground floor at Olympia. At theGRADfair, which is open solely to Graduates and Undergraduates, on the first floor, will be Independent Newspapers Ltd, Just IT, ACCA, Enterprise Rent A Car, The University of Middlesex School of Health, the Department for Trade and Industry and GCHQ among many others.

Also present will be colleges with representatives on hand to explain the opportunities available in Masters and other advanced courses. Admission is free, and features include seminars and face-to-face talks with a wide range
of exhibitors. As a new feature this year, enabling young parents to also utilize the opportunities available, there will be a free crche for both shows.

Some attendee advice; Think about what type of work you want, do your homework on any exhibitors you are particularly interested in talking to, dress smartly - first impressions count, bring plenty of CVs and fill in application forms carefully on the day.
