The Interactive Media Awardsô recognise the highest standards of excellence in website design and development and honour individuals and organisations for their outstanding achievement. Created by the Interactive Media Council, Inc. (IMC), a nonprofit organization of leading web designers, developers, programmers, advertisers and other web-related professionals, the competition is designed to elevate the standards of excellence on the Internet.
The Graduate Recruitment Bureau website, www.grb.uk.com, was nominated and won the award for ìBest in Classî in the Recruiting category. Dan Hawes, Co-Founder and Marketing Director says ìWe are delighted to be recognised by a design awards body. We spent 6 months in research and development with our agency to elevate our site and it is paying off already with higher traffic then ever before.î
Dan goes on to say, ìWe listened to what the UKs students and graduates wanted and did it! The site is now able to offer much more to job seekers such as a blog section allowing users to post comments on all aspects of graduate recruitment; a free Graduate Job Success Kit download packed with useful advice from over 10 years in the business; an RSS feed for users to keep updated with new content; profiles of the staff at GRB and of course more graduate jobs. The award is a luxury but what really seals it for me is the positive feedback we have been taking about the changes.î
It doesnít stop there as further improvements are scheduled throughout 2007 to secure its position as the strongest graduate job-hunting portal in the UK. ìThe new site now provides a strong platform to make further enhancements and keep up with demand for graduates seeking a careerî.
