Game-Changing Recruiting Technologies and Services

There's a major shift going on right now

There's a major shift going on right now. The last time this happened was when help-wanted postings started moving from the newspapers to new sites like Monster and CareerBuilder. Today, mass-collaboration and online widgets are once again taking power from the bigger players that are failing to listen to the market and innovate. I can back this trend up from the conversations I have on a daily basis with recruiting technologies and services that are in the trenches, listening to recruiters and responding with innovative solutions.

We are terming this a Game-Changing time because the barriers to entry have never been lower, and these 2.0 technologies and services are taking market share from the establishment. The name of the game is faster access to global top talent, and the new players are a mix of established organization that have evolved and new companies that will soon become commonplace in corporate recruiting departments across the United States.

At Online Recruitment Magazine, we believe it is our responsibility to keep you up-to-date on these market shifts. For this reason, we have been engaged in a major research effort to collect and report back on what we are calling 2008 Game-Changing Recruiting Technologies and Services. These innovators will be named on the evening of September 8th at our awards dinner -- the evening before Onrec.com/Expo 2008.

Soon after our Global Expo in Chicago, the Onrec editors will release a cover story that will profile and percolate a number of these products and services to hiring organizations around the world; this information will be distributed through the various Onrec online and offline communication channels.

If you would like to nominate a recruiting service or technology for this prestigious list, please send me a note at RD@Onrec.com.
