Futuremedia and Microsoft Interactive Seminar

Seminar on Government HCI Scheme is Huge Success<br>

The event held at Microsoftís campus on 10th September 2004 was designed to encourage UK companies to involve staff in the Government HCI

Learning solutions provider, Futuremedia jointly held an interactive seminar with Microsoft on 10 September at Microsoftís campus in Reading, Berkshire. The event was a great success and boasted an impressive level of attendance, indicating that many organisations would welcome the opportunity to learn more about the UK Government Home Computing Initiative and how they could benefit from offering this programme to employees.

Futuremedia and Microsoft want to encourage more organisations to involve staff in the HCI opportunity. Through Futuremediaís Learning for All programme, participants were shown how they could offer their staff motivational benefits that include different learning options for the whole family to use as well as access to Microsoft Office.

Customers of Futuremedia, Royal Mail and Kettering Borough Council gave excellent accounts of their experiences of implementing Learning for All programmes and the employee benefits that have since been recognised. Attendees were also given a step-by-step guide on how to successfully implement a HCI programme in their organisation.

We were delighted with the number of people at the event and even more so, encouraged by the positive feedback and overwhelming interest in our HCI programme, said Mats Johansson at Futuremedia. Due to the success of this event we are scheduling another seminar soon, so watch this space, he added.
