Celebrity runners from The Number 118 118 will join Rhodri Morgan AM, first minister for Wales in officially opening the event at 10am on Thursday 11 November before they cause chaos throughout the event. Don’t be surprised to hear calls of ’Got your number’ after you walk past.

The stage is often the heart of a Job Scene event, and this year is no exception. There will be a number of acts, demonstrations and skills demonstrated here.

IMMTECH is the leading music and multimedia training provider in Wales and students will be demonstrating their talents through rap, jazz and lots more. They will be on stage at various times throughout the event. Visitors should check their show programme for times.

Also Barry College will be inviting visitors to participate in a makeover, brilliant for visitors wanting to make a great first impression on a potential employer. They’ll be transforming people live on stage with new hairstyles, make-up and new fashion. They are looking for volunteers up to the challenge.

Sport and fitness staff and students, also from Barry College, will be getting physical, live on stage. Watch the live fitness class - or even take part. This exciting show is not to be missed.

Other points of interest at Job Scene & GO Wales include the RAF who will be bringing their simulator cockpit and inviting visitors to see if they have what it takes to be the next top gun, as well as a host of competitions and ’have a go’ sessions from exhibitors around the hall.

The events are presented by the South Wales Echo, sponsored by ELWa and supported by Careers Wales, Real Radio as well as all 11 Higher Education Institutes across Wales and is open from 10am to 4pm on Thursday 11 November with special evening opening from 5pm to 7pm and opens again from 10am to 3pm on Friday 12 November.
