Fullerís plans two Recruitment Open Days

Events aim to attract new managers, tenants and chefs

Fullerís, the London brewer and pub retailer, is holding two open days as part of a strategy to recruit the best managers, tenants, lessees and chefs in the industry. The events, both of which will be held in London, will offer potential recruits the chance to meet those involved in Fullerís pubs business and to have an informal chat or make an application.

The Managers and Tenants Open Day will be held on January 30, 2007, from 10am to 6pm in the Hock Cellar, at Fullerís Brewery in Chiswick, West London. A number of Fullerís operations managers will be present and the day is for anyone looking to join Fullerís either in a managed pub, or as a tenant or lessee. It is aimed at people currently holding a management position, looking to join as a management trainee, and those who want to run their own pub businesses.

The Chef Open Day will be held on February 7, 2007, at the Counting House, Cornhill, London EC3, from 10am to 8pm. It is aimed at recruiting chefs at all levels.

Attendees at both events can meet members of the Fullerís teams, have an informal chat, pick up information, fill out application forms or even have mini interviews. Ideally, potential recruits should bring a copy of their current CV.

Fullerís recruitment manager, Sarah Temple, said: ìWe find these Open Days offer an easy way for people to come and have a look at us, and for us to have a look at them. There are no strings attached ñ just pop along, and if you like what you see, we can take it one step further.

ìWith standards in the licensed retail sector getting ever higher, we want to make sure that we have always got the cream of the crop working at Fullerís and are always on the look out for new talent. If you think youíve got what it takes, and like the idea of working for a traditional family company, then come along to one of our open days.î

Anyone wishing to attend either of the open days, or just wanting more information, should contact Sharon Griffin on 020 8996 2175, or e-mail recruitment@fullers.co.uk.
