Fullerís, the London brewer and pub retailer, is holding two open days as part of a strategy to recruit the best chefs in the industry. The events, to be held in London and Guildford, will offer potential recruits the chance to meet those involved in Fullerís pubs business and to have an informal chat or make an application.
The first Chef Open Day will be held on Monday, June 4, 2007, between 3-7pm in the Hock Cellar, at Fullerís Brewery in Chiswick, West London. A number of Fullerís operations managers will be present along with some of Fullerís executive chefs and the day is aimed at recruiting chefs at all levels.
The second Chef Open Day will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2007, again between 3-7pm, at the White House pub, 8 High Street, Guildford.
Attendees at both events can meet members of the Fullerís team, have an informal chat, pick up information, fill out application forms or even have mini interviews. Ideally, potential recruits should bring a copy of their current CV.
Fullerís recruitment manager, Sarah Temple, said: ìThese Open Days offer an easy way for people to come and have a look at us, and for us to have a look at them ñ with no strings attached. The last two open days we ran, back in February, were an astounding success and weíre looking forward to meeting more people in June.
ìAt Fullerís, we want to make sure that we have always got the cream of the crop and are always on the look out for new talent. If you think youíve got what it takes, and like the idea of working for a traditional family company, then come along to one of our open days.î
Anyone wishing to attend either of the open days, or just wanting more information, should contact Sharon Griffin on 020 8996 2175, or e-mail recruitment@fullers.co.uk.
